Vintage Momma
As a little girl I always dreamed of getting married and starting a family. At 10 years old I lost my Daddy to colon cancer...this life changing event has affected my life tremendously! Growing up with my Mom and younger sister we found a special bond for each other that is everlasting! Soon after the death of my Daddy, I was diagnosed with an uncommon hip disorder. I had three hip surgeries during my 5th and 6th grade school years. I overcame the trials and tribulations God put in the path of my childhood.  As I look back, I know everything happens for a reason and God has our life planned out for us before we are even born.  I graduated from high school, and went to nursing school at a small community college, graduated with my nursing degree and moved away to work as a nurse! As a young spirited adventurer, I wanted to work as a nurse somewhere different... I got a job as the Staff Nurse at Glorieta Baptist Conference Center. While working in the First Aid Station, a young summer staffer came in to see the nurse...now my husband of almost 14 years!!
